What is somewhat being speculated on is that x570 may bring more pci-ex lanes, 28 perhaps depending on the implementation of the I/O die itself, as far as we know 4 are always reserved for the chipset however, but perhaps the i/o die may improve/increase this over the standard 32 built into the ryzen 1000/2000 die (that are partially disabled).
